Shearings cruises departing from your doorstep

Shearings Holidays is offering free travel from more than 120 regional pick-up points for passengers sailing on two of its new sea cruises.

The coach transfers to the operator's departure port of Harwich are available on the 12 day British Isles Heritage Trail cruise and 15 day North Cape & Spitsbergen cruise.

Commercial director for Shearings, Caroline Brown, said: “The idea of our free coach transfers is to remove all the stress of travelling to the port and allow passengers the chance to relax and start their holiday with us even sooner.

“With joining points across the country, it’s easier than ever to join one of our popular sea cruises.”

For even more convenience passengers can be picked up from their home by booking the ‘Home Connect’ service, available from selected regions.

Shearings recently launched 23 new sea cruises for 2010 with a new dedicated sea cruise brochure, created in partnership with All Leisure Group's MV Discovery.

The operator was also named ‘Best Escorted Tours Operator’ at the British Travel Awards (BTA) 2008 and 2009.
