Genesis helps boost margins through customised training programme for reseller community
SaaS and mobile specialist Genesis Communications is giving its resellers the ability to generate maximum revenues by shaping their own training programmes on the company’s hosted technology.
Resellers can recommend specific technical topics, which will improve how they sell Genesis’ hosted packages, including SharePoint, CRM and Exchange. These are developed by Genesis into detailed group training days, held every six weeks at Microsoft’s UK headquarters, which include expert software master classes, advice on incorporating the technology into existing business models and how to pitch sales to key business audiences and new vertical markets.
“Rather than force-feeding our resellers a standard training programme, we wanted to make sure every single session is as relevant as possible in terms of focus and depth of detail,” said Adam Cathcart, head of channel development, Genesis Communications.
“Giving the channel control of the training agenda enables our resellers to get the specific information they need to sell as many solutions as possible in a very difficult economic climate, rather than having to sit through sessions on technology they already feel comfortable with bringing to market.”
Genesis’ channel partner programme has seen an 88% increase in sign ups since the launch of its dedicated SaaS Reseller portal in January this year. For more information about becoming a Genesis partner, please visit http://choice.genesis.co.uk
