Part exchange explained for movers in Northants
An increasing number of homeowners in Northamptonshire are postponing moving house over concerns that they won’t be able to sell their existing property.
According to housebuilder Morris – the developer behind the Pemberton Gate development, off Shirley Road in Rushden – a surge of homebuyers are turning to its part exchange scheme – eliminating any need to get trapped in a property chain.
The scheme means that buyers can sell their existing house to Morris for 100% of its market value, leaving them free to proceed with the purchase of their new home.
Cindy Vials, regional sales director for Morris, said: “Our part-exchange scheme is ideal for anyone who needs to sell their current home.
“Not only does this give you a guaranteed buyer, but also means you can avoid paying estate agency fees, and makes for a much quicker, and more straightforward process.”
Pemberton Gate is within walking distance of the town centre and offers easy access to transport links to Milton Keynes and Northampton. The development is also located near to Stanwick Lakes, a unique countryside attraction in the heart of the Nene Valley.
Morris currently has a range of three bedroom properties available under the part exchange scheme, starting from just £166,750.
For more information on Morris’ Pemberton Gate, visit the sales office (open Thursday to Monday between 10.30am and 5.30pm) at Pemberton Gate, Shirley Road, Rushden, NN10 6BX, call 01933 350824 or visit www.morrishomes.co.uk/pemberton-gate/.
