Morris development is top of the class
Housebuilder Morris has seen an increase in sales at its Penmere Park development as homebuyers flock to secure places at some of Wrexham’s leading schools.
Many families are moving to be closer to the Madras and Maelor schools located near to its Penmere Park development at Oakwood Park, Penley.
Both schools performed well in the recent Estyn reports, being praised for their outstanding features which include inspirational teaching, high quality care, support and guidance for all pupils (including those with additional learning needs).
The Boffey family moved to a four bedroom detached property on the development two years ago to be closer to the schools. Their daughter Madison 4, currently attends the primary school and their son Roan 2, will be joining soon.
Simon Boffey, father and teacher, said: “I spotted the Penmere Park development in the local paper and was immediately attracted to the opportunity to purchase a bigger new build house that we could put our stamp on.
“The location and quality of the schools was the icing on the cake. Both the primary and secondary schools have excellent reputations, receiving Grade 1s and 2s in a recent Estyn inspection report.* We also love the idea of the children being able to walk or ride their bikes to the school.”
Penmere Park includes three and four bedroom properties set in landscaped grounds. The development is ideal for couples and families looking for a good quality home in a quiet, semi-rural location within easy reach of Wrexham.
Simon continued: “The market was slowing down and we needed to upgrade our current property to include another bedroom. Morris’ 100% part exchange scheme gave us confidence and peace-of-mind to move and made the entire process quick and easy.”
Julie Smith, regional sales director for Morris, added: “Many of the homebuyers at the site have been attracted to the location and quality of the schools in Penley, as well as the quality of our homes and schemes on offer.
“For many people the most stressful part of moving home is selling an existing property but thanks to our part exchange scheme this stress is eliminated.”
Morris is currently offering a range of three and four bedroom homes at Penmere Park, starting from just £147,750.
