Rhino Mania hits Cheshire Oaks

A herd of 44 Rhinos has taken up residence at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet as part of Chester’s Rhino Mania initiative.

The herd of four large model rhinos and 40 small models, decorated by local school children, are situated throughout the centre in store windows and at focal points along the malls.

Shaun Rhodes, marketing manager at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, said: “The rhinos have been causing a bit of a stir with customers thanks to their colourful and imaginative designs. They are a great addition to our store windows and it seems there is a wealth of artistic talent in Chester.”

Rhino Mania is a world-class art event that's designed to have huge public appeal. Over 10 weeks from July 5 to September 12 2010, 62 incredible sculptures will create a trail through Chester, plus 120 small rhino sculptures decorated by local school children.

Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet is located just off junction 10 of the M53 and features 140 top brand names including Lacoste, Ted Baker, Links of London and Superdry, all with up to 60 percent off high street prices.
