It's a circus at East Midlands Designer Outlet

Young visitors to East Midlands Designer Outlet can learn to plate spin and juggle on Friday 6 August in the first of the centre’s summer Fun Fridays.

Throughout the day young shoppers can take part in free circus skills workshops to learn the tricks of the Big Top from 11am to 3pm.

It’s the first of four Fun Fridays taking place in August. Other activities include a princess and knight party, plus outlet appearances by Peppa Pig and Barney.

In addition, characters from Gulliver’s Kingdom will be visiting the outlet throughout August. Leonard the Lion will be hosting a jungle jive of fun and games at 11am and 1pm every Tuesday, while kids can also enjoy party dances with Gully Mouse at 12pm and 3pm on the same day.

Donna Goodwin, marketing manager at East Midlands Designer Outlet, said: “We always provide free summer activities for youngsters and this year is no different. It makes the centre a great family day out for families with fun activities for the children and fantastic shopping for parents.”

The Fun Friday’s activities will take place in the following order:

Friday 6 August – Circus skills workshop

Friday 13 August – Princess and knights party

Friday 20 August – Barney appearance

Friday 27 August – Peppa Pig appearance

Customers should keep an eye on the the centre’s website to find out how to secure priority seating for the Barney and Peppa Pig appearances.

The outlet is open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Wednesday and Friday, 10am to 8pm on Thursday, 9.30am to 6.30pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
