Colchester couple become stars of new TV ad campaign
A Colchester couple who’ve bounced back from redundancy by setting up their own home-based business with Kleeneze have been chosen to front a high profile national ad campaign for the catalogue company.
Mark and Alison Bird have been picked from over 10,000 Kleeneze distributors to represent the company in its latest national television advertisement.
The couple first started working with Kleeneze in May 2009 after Mark was made redundant from his job in sales. Alison, who was made redundant in 2006, works with Mark alongside her other business as a self employed hypnotherapist.
Since May they have steadily built up their business and are now concentrating on adding new members to their team, in order to further boost their income.
Mark said: “We’re really proud to have been given the chance to appear in the new ad and can’t wait to see the finished product appear on TV.
“We joined Kleeneze on the recommendation of friends and initially saw it as a stop-gap while I looked for another job. However, it quickly became apparent to us that there was a real opportunity to make a thriving business for ourselves. Now I can’t see myself working for someone else ever again. We’re working for ourselves and really enjoying it.
“We’re especially pleased that we’ll now be part of the national campaign to spread the word on what a great opportunity Kleeneze is.”
The new Kleeneze TV ad campaign aims to promote earning opportunities with the catalogue company, who offer people the chance to earn an income by delivering catalogues door to door, processing orders and delivering them to customers on either a full or part time basis.
Kleeneze distributors can work as and when they choose, using their business as either a supplementary source of income or as a chance to create a full-time opportunity.
Jamie Stewart, managing director of Kleeneze, said: “We chose Mark and Alison to appear in our new advertisement because they’re a great example of how our distributors can make Kleeneze work for them.
“With many people looking for new opportunities in the New Year, we hope the launch of our latest TV advertisement will prove to be well timed.”
The new ad campaign, which also features a range of other Kleeneze distributors from around the country, launches on Monday January 18.
