Keoghs appoints new chief operations officer

Top 100 law firm Keoghs has appointed Daryl Booth as chief operations officer.

During his 20 year career, he has held senior positions at Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Barclays Bank.

He joins Keoghs from Cheshire Building Society, where he was IT and operations director.

In his new role, Daryl will take responsibility for Keoghs’ IT infrastructure and wider operational and change management functions to support the firm’s continuing growth.

John Whittle, CEO of Keoghs, said: “Keoghs is growing quickly – we now have nearly 600 employees and we are rapidly expanding the scale and diversity of our services.

“This, along with fundamental reforms in the legal system, means that having a strong operational and IT infrastructure is vital - Daryl will play a major role in ensuring our success continues.”

Daryl Booth said: “I believe that Keoghs has a tremendous opportunity to grow and develop as a business.

I will be working to further develop Keoghs’ operational infrastructure and IT systems in light of the firm’s rapid expansion over the last year – and to ensure it has the best foundations to continue on its current growth curve.

“The working culture at Keoghs is extremely collegiate and supportive – these were also major factors in my decision to accept the position.”
