Keoghs appoints disease guru Chris Phillips
Law firm Keoghs has appointed Chris Phillips, one of the industry’s best known disease litigation experts, as a full-time consultant.
He joins from Halliwells, where he was instrumental in founding the insurance department in 1994 – and becomes part of a rapidly growing team of disease experts at Keoghs. A number of other recruits will be announced over the next few months.
Chris has over 25 years of experience defending occupational disease claims including a number of notable House of Lords cases, most recently in the pleural plaques arena.
John Whittle, CEO of Keoghs, said: "As the insurance industry struggles with increasing volumes and variety of disease claims Keoghs is responding by expanding and broadening the skills and capabilities it can put at the disposal of its clients."
