Faster and cheaper printing from Brother's new colour laser range

Brother has unveiled its best colour laser range yet which features both faster speeds and cheaper printing.

The new collection, which include Brother’s second generation colour engine, offers a choice of 10 models with a better spread of speeds, enhanced features and lower running costs.

Speeds now range from 22ppm to 28ppm, in both mono and colour, and nine of the machines in the range offer duplex print, meaning improved running costs for the customer. The expanded range means there is now a wider spread of machines to cater for SMEs as well as the larger corporate organisations.

Other features in the range include a 12.7cm touch screen LCD, a front panel USB Host Port – for direct print or scan to PDF, JPG, TIFF or any other supported format, up to 800 sheet paper capacity, wireless connection and high speed duplex copying and scanning, thanks to the built-in twin-head scanner.

Brother has also introduced a new super high-yield toner for its top of the range machines, offering even better running costs for customers with high print usage.

Phil Jones, sales and marketing director for Brother, said: “Our focus is always on improving our offer in response to the needs of the business community and this latest range shows that we are doing just that.

“For the first time ever, we are not only enhancing our offer to SME users, but we have launched four new machines to target the corporate market. Both offer the optimum functionality required by large businesses, but we’ve been able to offer this at a much lower price than many of our competitors.

“All our machines have been designed to focus on the two main criteria of any business – increased productivity and cost saving. By doing this we’ve created an affordable range that will really appeal to savvy business people, regardless of the size of the company.”

Nine of the machines in the range are Energy Star and Blue Angel accredited, ensuring the range is as environmentally and ethically sustainable as possible.

The first machines in the new colour laser series launch in October, with further models launching in November and January.
