Brother launch new high speed label printers

Labelling specialist Brother is launching two new PC connectable desktop label printers to help businesses to organise the workplace.

The PT-9700PC offers high speed and high quality label printing, producing wide, durable labels, with print speeds of up to 80mm per second. It is perfect for businesses such as manufacturing, engineering, event management, filing systems and asset management, where bespoke labels are required quickly.

The PT-9800PCN has built-in networking, allowing all network users to create labels quickly and easily, without any software or driver installation required. This is a great solution for businesses looking to save money on multiple devices. In addition, the machine comes with free Editor Lite editing software and a USB barcode scanner (not supplied), which can be connected directly into the front of the machine so barcodes can be created without the use of a PC.

The PT-9700PC and PT-9800PCN, available from April, print directly onto Brother’s TZ tapes or HG tapes which are both laminated and ‘tested to the extreme’. The tape creates labels that are peel, scuff, fade, water, chemical and temperature resistant. They print in a variety of sizes which is perfect for creating a wide range of eye-catching labels.
