The Gospoda celebrates new look with festive launch party

Popular Reading pub and restaurant The Gospoda is re-launching – and locals are invited to come along and join in the celebrations.

The Admiral Taverns' Polish-themed bar and eatery, located on Bedford Road, is set to reopen following extensive refurbishments to both the interior and exterior of the pub.

The launch party, where customers will be able to sample Polish cuisine in the free buffet and also try some Polish vodka, will take place on Wednesday 8 December.

There will also be a prize draw and the chance to find out more about the historic links between the UK and Poland in a special presentation film complied by the pub.

Emilia Rozanska, manager of The Gospoda, said: “We’re excited to show off The Gospoda’s new look to both our existing customers and those who’ve never visited us before.

“We’re introducing a new menu and will be hosting a range of events in the lead up to Christmas, so we’d encourage as many people as possible to come down and discover everything we have to offer.”

Ged Maccken, business development manager Admiral Taverns, said: “The Gospoda has always been popular with the local Polish community, but we’re hoping that the re-launch will remind people from the local area that everyone is welcome to come along anytime and enjoy some traditional Polish food and drink.”
